Beth Unverzagt - Beth is the organization's director. Beth’s responsibilities include coordinating state level efforts around afterschool, representing Oregon at the national level and working with partners to ensure the goals of the network are achieved. In addition, she educates policy makers, local and state representatives, educational stakeholders and afterschool professionals around the issues and resources for the field of afterschool and advocates for systemic change within statewide systems. Tammy Marino - As the Education and Training Coordinator, Tammy is responsible for the implementation of the annual Resource Center training calendar. In addition, she coordinates all education and training projects, leads the program committee work around core competencies and quality standards and works closely with partners in the development and facilitation of professional development opportunities statewide. Lynn Kneeland - Lynn is our Communication Coordinator and will be available to answer calls and respond to messages between the hours of 9am to 12pm Monday through Friday. Lynn takes all calls and questions regarding technical assistance, training and data collection. She is responsible for coordinating communication efforts, facilitating technical assistance responses and assisting with events and trainings. As the Youth Development Network Coordinator, Lynn Kneeland works with Marion, Polk and Yamhill counties to coordinate resource and training opportunities for afterschool and mentoring programs. She collects data about the resources and programs available and offers afterschool and mentoring professionals support through network meetings and trainings. Leilani Esping - Leilani is our Afterschool Resource Specialist. She will research requests for samples of forms, curriculum etc. She also maintains our resource library and acts as a consultant to provide assistance on site during grantee requested site visits. Any questions regarding what has been used by other grantees, successful models and curriculum ideas will be directed to this after school resource specialist.
